Amirrul Rizwan has had hands on experience spanning across a few years in Malaysian automotive industry specialising in Industry 4.0 and Mobility as a Services (MaaS), among others.
His previous immediate rolea was the Senior Researcher and Acting Head of Department of Strategic Business Development at Persatuan Pengimpot dan Peniaga Kenderaan Melayu Malaysia (PEKEMA). Prior to this, he was a System Analyst with Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) and through involvement in the industry, he utilised Additive Manufacturing (one of the pillars in Industry 4.0) in producing vehicle prototypes aimed at lowering Research & Development costs. He later was briefly involved in the “Electric Bus as Public Transport” project as part of the implementation of Green Initiative by PEKEMA.
He is also involved in volunteering activities with various Non-Profit Organisations (NGOs), primarily Persatuan Anak Sarawak Semenanjung which requires him to lead, facilitate and organise events across Malaysia over the years. Recently, he was the Curator for TEDxBintawa, an independently-organised sharing platform to promote and generate ideas worth sharing in the community particularly in Sarawak. Passionate about knowledge and education, he is actively seeking future endeavors as an educator or a researcher.
He obtained his Master’s Degree in Information Science in Information Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science (Hons) Information System Management both from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
Amirrul Rizwan believes that trues changes must come from within and that critical thinking is one of the many important dynamics in ensuring a continuous personal value creation.
